Description:

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Shipping Logistics & Freight Forwarder in Doha, Qatar. The role involves coordinating transportation and logistics services to ensure efficient handling of shipments, including trucking, shipping, and air freight. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing shipping and customs documents to facilitate the smooth movement of goods.

Job Details:

• Salary: 2001-5000 QR
• Experience: 0-2 years in shipping logistics or freight forwarding
• Location: Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

• Arrange transportation services for shipments, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and booking shipments.
• Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import documentation.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and carriers to resolve any issues related to shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
