MEP DRAUGHTSMAN Job In Qatar

Location : Doha, Qatar

Description:

• 1. Preparation of technical drawings based on rough sketches, specification and calculations
• 2. To critically review the relevant documents prior to start of construction e.g IFC, Project Specification etc
• 3. Checks and corrects work prepared by others in order to conform to standards, specifications, and design requirements
• 4. Prepare finished drawings for construction work from sketches, specifications, and field notes
• 5. Prepare MEP calculations for HVAC drawings, Plumbing, piping and small substation and electrical works.
• 6. Design change requirements, including but not limited to piping, plumbing, fire fighting design
• 7. Experience in MEP design detailing.
• 8. Report to design manger as well as MEP manager for smooth coordination for design work
• 9. Be able to prepare quick, simple and accurate hand calculations to check the designing of others.

– Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Diploma in Design Engineering

-Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook, and Auto Cad is required.

-Knowledge of popular design software is desirable.

Middle East experience is a plus.
