Estimation Engineer (Epoxy & Waterproofing)

Description:

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate cost estimates for epoxy and waterproofing projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring estimates meet client expectations and project budgets. The ideal candidate must have experience in the waterproofing or epoxy industry, with a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of material and labor costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for epoxy flooring, waterproofing systems, and other protective coatings.
• – Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to assess materials, labor, and time requirements.
• – Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and suppliers to source competitive pricing and select materials.
• – Conduct on-site assessments, when necessary, to understand specific project needs.
• – Maintain and update a database of historical costs for epoxy and waterproofing materials and services.
• – Present estimates and cost breakdowns to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
• – Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and company policies.
• Requirements:
• – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• – Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer in the waterproofing, epoxy, or protective coatings industry.
• – knowledge of waterproofing systems, epoxy applications, and materials.
• – Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• – Excellent analytical, mathematical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• – ⁠proficiency in Auto cad and drawings 
• – Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• – Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently as needed.
