ERP Functional Consultant Job in Doha, Qatar

Description:

We are seeking an ERP Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and providing support for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Duties:

• Implement and support ERP systems for companies with significant onsite/offsite presences.
• Analyze systems, define requirements, design and propose solutions, configure software, and train employees.
• Optimize the system for ease of use and train employees on its functions.
• Assess company’s business requirements and software needs, ensuring solutions are time- and cost-effective.
• Ensure effective collaboration across all company levels for process implementation.
• Be on-call for technical emergencies.
• Conduct software analysis, work with technical teams, develop design specifications, and present action plans to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall coordination of client IT projects from planning through implementation.
• Align with project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules.
• Facilitate discussions and consensus among project stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with clients and staff to execute project vision and conduct project risk assessments.
• Document impacts from any changes during the project.
• Participate in post-project reviews and documentation.
• Communicate project updates, including status, risks, issues, and escalations.

Requirements and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline.
• 5 to 6 years of experience with a consulting company or in an internal consulting role, participating in large, complex ERP implementation projects.
• Ability to work across a broad range of business and IT-related subject-matter areas with sensitivity to global impact.
• Demonstrated ability to work with business and IT partners at all levels, with sensitivity and understanding for successful cultural relations.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-based team environment.
