Electrical Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics based on engineer instructions and project specifications.
2. Develop lighting layouts, power layouts, cable routing, and single line diagrams (SLD).
3. Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions as required during project execution.
4. Coordinate with electrical engineers, site engineers, and other disciplines to ensure accurate drawings.
5. Ensure drawings comply with project standards, local authority regulations, and client requirements.
6. Maintain proper document control and drawing records.
7. Review and update drawings according to design changes and site conditions.
8. Assist engineers in preparing BOQ, technical documentation, and project submissions.

Requirements

1. Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Drafting.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting in Qatar.
3. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit is an advantage).
4. Experience in MEP / Construction / Industrial projects.
5. Immediate joining only
6. Contract basis (Location: Ras Laffan)
