CNC WOODWORKING OPERATOR

Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

• • Interpreting and implementing blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing wooden parts
• • Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• • Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• • Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements
• • Conducting regular CNC machine maintenance to ensure effective operation
• • Adjusting machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
• • Checking machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality
• • Reporting any machine malfunctions to maintenance personnel
• • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and comply with safety regulations
• • Documenting and updating production records, including data entry in computer systems
• • Assisting in other woodworking tasks as needed
