Accountant

Location : Doha, Qatar

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Manage payroll and related tax filings.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Ensure accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.

Stay current on changes in accounting laws and regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

[2-5] years of proven accounting experience.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).

Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.

Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

CPA, CA, or other relevant certifications is a plus.
