Electrical Design and Estimation Engineer Job in Doha, Qatar

Location : Doha, Qatar

Description:

Determining the electrical needs of the project. 

Drawing the outline and blueprints for the said electrical system. 

Placing the utility, workstation, and other fixtures as per the specifications. 

Placing the utility, workstation, and other fixtures as per the specifications. 

Understanding and interpreting the blueprints. 

Reviewing the plan to estimate the length of electrical wire. 

Identifying the cost and time constraints. 

Knowing the supply cost for each individual element. 

Determining the labor requirements for completing the project. 

Working in coordination with other team members. 

Maintaining electrical cost database. 

Performing calculations of various profitability solutions. 

Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors. 

Maintaining a healthy relationship with the clients.

Identifying the risk involved in the project. 

Explaining the cost of waste materials. 

Completing the project bids as per the guidelines. 

Adhering to all the electrical rules and regulations. 

Excellent analytics skills. 

Ability to pay a close eye to detail for accuracy. 

Ability to solve complex problems in an efficient manner. 

Sound organizational and time management skills. 

Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually. 

Ability to check multiple data sources. 

Preferably UPDA Certified Engineer

Proven experience in electrical and switchgears

Knowledge of the Qatari market and customer preferences is a plus.

Qualification : UPDA Certificate, Kahramaa license
